Kanako: Japanese concert pianist, laureate of international competitions, graduated from the Paris Music School and Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, gives you piano lessons for all levels, at home (to be discussed) or at home in Saint-Gilles with a piano at tail. I propose a learning adapted to everyone, from beginner to competition preparation. Language: French, English, Japanese.

Private lessons for violin or viola for all ages! the lesson is programmed depending on the goals of the student, creating a space where they feel comfortable and eager to learn. The teaching curriculum can be adjusted depending on the student needs, keeping as main focus providing the tools for the students to be able to keep learning and problem solving for when practicing alone.

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

The teacher has been singing for 22 years. She studied Solfeggio and Piano at the Musicole (Uccle) then Singing and Soflège at the Académie de Saint Gilles, in Lyric Singing. She took group singing lessons with several renowned teachers (La Voie Créatif, Frédérique Rochette, Jérôme Porsperger, Corps Chant Voix). The teacher has a piano to work on vocals and piano. The teacher works on the basis of song texts. The student discovers or recognizes the song after choosing between several titles. The teacher adapts to her student's tastes as to the type of music that pleases him, she transmits her knowledge of singing whether for melody, for rhythm, for the placement of the voice and breathing. The teacher encourages the student and is caring. The teacher transmits her taste and passion for music. The teacher can also provide sheet music for classical or other music songs upon request. The teacher sings in a choir. It is also possible to work on rhythm using a metronome and a djembe, although the teacher is not a djembe specialist.

In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. Of course I also encourage classical music, as long as the student enjoys it, which will always be the most important part for me. After all, what is music, if not the purest and most universal essence of our humanity, the one that connects our hearts and souls?

I started many students who are now able to have fun playing all types of repertoire. I also accompany the more advanced levels in their artistic work. Hello :) I'm a young yet experienced pianist from Poland, I've finished 12 years of Frideric Chopin's Music School there. I have been tutoring since I was 16. As for my teaching style, I care a lot about the basis, so students I have usually have a very stable ability of playing piano. Also, I'm an English teacher for kids at the moment, so I am very good at communicating with them and I love spending time developing their skills. I've been collecting note sheets since a little child, so except of the theory, I can suggest some basic, popular songs to learn.
