I am Henry, concert pianist, currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I have had extensive experience as a soloist on stages and in concerts, as well as experience as a teacher for children and adults with very good results. The teaching method involves different learning processes in the student; - recognition of notes on the keyboard - correct positioning of hands and fingers - learning to read sheet music - learning works and resources to interpret them - basic musical, melodic and rhythmic theory.

Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere. At the beginning of the lesson, the student will be trained by some theory, not the best part for most people. But with the help of mnemotechnic methods, those basics won't have a secret for him/her anymore ;) Then, I will adapt the pratical part depending on the student's level...and will of course ;) He/She can bring the music piece he would like to play.

I'm Giorgos and i teach Lute and Classical guitar! I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments. I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule. My aim with teaching is to find the best way to facilitate the student to find their own voice and direction, and to help steer them on their preferred road of performance. The schedule and repertoire are decided by the student, and we plot a course together depending on your goals, whether that's aiming to place into an academy or the conservatories, or if you just enjoy playing music as a hobby and wish that it accompanies you through your life! Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns while getting to know basis of classical harmony. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master degree, as well as two different Postgraduate degrees and two different Concert musician diplomas in special program for gifted concert artists at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

I am a recent Masters graduate in Piano from the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, in the class of Jan Michels. Alongside performing, teaching is my greatest passion and I’ve been teaching piano for eight years now. Before moving to Brussels, I studied my Bachelors in Edinburgh and took part in Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Talent Academy in Verona. I’ve gained invaluable insights from renowned pianists such as Fali Pavri, Graeme McNaught, Simon Coverdale, BingBing Li, Norma Fisher, Murray McLachlan, Craig Sheppard and Petras Geniusas. It’s my pleasure to pass these on. My upcoming PhD will focus on music education, with a particular focus on piano teaching.

Piano teacher in several music schools for almost ten years, I like to use improvisation and games to overcome the problems encountered by my students. I am open to working on all repertoires, to introducing improvisation and the history of music in lessons as well as to musical writing. I work with children from the age of five because I trained in the sensory method (Peltier/ Navarra) as well as with adults.
