Drawing course for beginners and intermediate (technique + developing your own style)

The class is meant for those who wish to enter the world of performance art - an experimental art form that originated in the 1960s in the United States. My intention with the lessons is to teach a student how to begin an independent artistic practice as a performance artist through practical exercises, readings, and analysis of performances (on photos, video and in events we would visit together). The basic theory and history of performance art are introduced so the student can get oriented in the respective art context. If desired, the class can go deeper in theory with the readings from the related field of Performance Studies. While performance ART is an artistic field, performance STUDIES is wider academic discipline working with the notion of performance not only in art but also in the sports, rituals, play, every day, sex, technology, business and elsewhere. I base the class on my years-long artistic, theoretical and curatorial practices and on my education in the field (BA in Site-Specific Performance, ongoing MA in Live Art and Performance Studies, BA in General Art Studies).

I've been painting since 20 years ago, recently I start working with children, in small groups (3 max) in class we enjoy working in small proyects. I enjoy teaching children through art and music. We work different techniques, depend on the kids Age.

You'll learn a variety of cooking techniques to cut down on costs and time in a relaxed and fun cooking environment. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, my eight-year-old brother is able to make most of these recipes.

Classes are offered by two ESA St-Luc graduates 2007 graduates each with many years of practice.We will also provide you with various basic materials (papers, pencils, charcoal etc).

This will allow you to better understand practices of contemporary art and to participate from your own home. We will create beautiful texts and poems, expressive sketches and creative maps, illustrative paintings, and photos. The classes are tailored based on the student's needs and wishes, which means different creative exercises. After creative writing, when we reach the visual process, the introduction and guidance for the practical skill of the desired medium will be offered. This class is offered to anyone, no matter the level they have. As an artist with traditional art education, and contemporary art research degree, I believe I can help you regardless if it's for your own practice and interests, or if it's for an academic guidance.

Methodology The proposed teaching aims to develop the plastic qualities and the personality of the pupil through the drawing as well as his sense of the observation by various playful and inventive exercises. Learn to draw differently, avoid automatism and break free / detach from habits to develop new graphic qualities. My objective is to allow the development of the student through this medium and to ensure the continuation of his practice. I have been giving drawing lessons for a few years now and I like to share my activity through amateur teaching. I particularly developed skills by deepening observational drawing (live model, still life, landscape, architecture, objects, shadow work, tracing, one-line-drawing). My methods take into account the discovery of the sensitive applicable to drawing, the mastery of its visual faculties, of a technique of representations ranging from academic to letting go, promoting personal development as well as one's own style of representation. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Almost every musician can play some piano, but that does not mean they are pianists or piano teachers. I offer piano lessons at your place for an affordable price. I have a diploma in piano pedagogy. I studied didactics and methodology for teaching piano. I use modern methods and piano books. I have a big collection of music sheets available for my students. I am also interested in discovering historical methods of piano pedagogy that were used by the biggest composers such as W. A. Mozart and J. S. Bach. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia.
