At The Hap'ning Place we offer Violin or Viola Lessons to all ages and levels of ability with our enthusiastic, professional teachers. Our students enjoy learning in our spacious, welcoming rooms. Lessons can be for your own pleasure or we can prepare you for the graded examinations or auditions. We are rather proud of our 100% success rate with our students in the exams. ☺️ Our students also have the opportunity to perform in solo and ensemble recitals throughout the year as well as workshops and master classes. I teach classes in English, French, or Spanish to young students who wish to improve their instrument, either individually or collectively. I am also available for music theory, harmony, transposition, and analysis for any level of skill. Suitable for all ages and levels, whether beginners or advanced players. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I can teach Dorico Notation Software, Adobe Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and Ableton. I currently teach students internationally, and can accommodate other time zones. My name is Ludovic, I had the chance to learn alongside eminent professors including Blagoya Dimcevski at the Toulouse Conservatory. It is important for me to pass on the knowledge that I had the chance to acquire whether in classical music or film music, of which I am very passionate.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. Dear students, My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich. During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. I incorporate meditation and yoga as key elements to ensure a pleasant and optimal experience with the instrument and with oneself.

I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
