English is now used worldwide. It is not just necessary for school but also for traveling and possible future jobs. I am Roxanne and I am from New Orleans, Louisiana in the USA. I am studying American Studies and English at the University of Innsbruck and am TEFL certified. I have over two years of teaching experience and I have found myself in love with it. I think learning should be fun and positive and therefore I like my lessons to be very interactive. I offer improving speaking skills, writing, tutoring, and basic English grammar. Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched by the contributions of other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. Learning Wolof offers anyone who wishes to get to know Senegal, in a professional, cultural or touristic context, to establish privileged contact with its population. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also you how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can manage to form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson. What is more fascinating is while taking my lessons I noticed most of my students speak Wolof with a very clear accent in Wolof because I often insist on phonetics.
