I tutor various subjects at secondary level, including mathematics, physics, biology, Dutch, English and economics. For years I have been teaching tutor in different subjects to students of all ages. I am currently studying linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. At the VWO I followed a nature & technology profile, which means that I also know everything about mathematics and physics as those subjects are taught at a secondary level.

I am a professional English teacher with over 8 years experience in various teaching roles. I have experience of teaching all ages from 3 up to 65+ in group classes or 1-on-1. My name is Xander and I am 19 years old. I was born and grew up in the UK near London. I am fluent and extremally competent in English and I feel I can teach English as well as most school subjects to children and teenagers younger than 16. My name is Dylan and I am a Masters student at Leiden University, studying Astronomy and Cosmology. I received my baccalaureate degree (B.Sc in Physics with Astronomy) from Dublin City University, Ireland, in 2015. I graduated with the highest marks in the class, due not only to my study and hard work, but also my exam technique. My name is Ani, I am doing my third year of International Business in THUAS. Russian is my native and favourite language. I was raised in Saint Petersburg, the "cultural capital" of Russia where I took part and won many championships in Russian Language proficiency. I love my language and I would love to help you learn it. I am really flexible (especially now), easy-going and open person. Also, I have experience teaching Russian exchange students while I was living in Saint Petersburg. We can focus more on speaking/grammar/listening/writing depending on what your goal is.

I have been teaching Mathematics and English at all levels for more than 3 years. I have taught students with learning disabilities as well as students who are excelling in their studies making me well equipped to teach all kinds of students. I have experience as a math substitute at a secondary school (children aged 13-16) and therefore prefer to make a lot of mock exams and exercises myself. I like to keep parents as involved as possible and provide progress meetings outside of lessons. I have taught English to adults at a linguistics company for a year and have some experience teaching adults too. My goal is to teach younger children/students the correct way of the English language. I have had precious experience with tutoring while I lived in Germany. During my time in tutoring,I learnt that children tend to learn faster and easier when enjoying a lesson. I therefore try to keep my lessons fun and exciting but of course, effective. At the end of every few lessons, I like to give a small exam on what was learnt the past few hours. Just to see what can be improved or What has already become a plus.
