Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the student's musical tastes and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style. My approach consists of giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback! Thus, my lessons will allow you to: - Learn how to read scores. -Develop your musical understanding (from notes, rhythm, and harmony, to musical taste, and emotional comprehension of the music, or dive into aesthetic principles concerning the period and style of the piece,...). -Improve, step by step, until you are able to play that piece/song that you love. -Prepare yourself for exams. -Etc. Max for Live is a tool bundled with Ableton Live that lets you program your own instruments and effects without writing a single line of code. With this course you will get a better understanding of the components of a synthesizer, learn the fundamentals of some of the most known and recognizable effects and learn some basic notions of programming. Max uses a visual approach to programming, meaning you do not have to right codes to make your own plugins, instead you connect blocks that each have a specific function into an interconnected network that make a functioning instrument or effect. By learning how to make your own plugin you will also gain a better understanding of how digital audio works, making you more aware of what your are doing in Ableton and more efficient.

This class is both for people without any prior knowledge of music production and sound engineering and for people who wish to improve their skills. You will learn how to use computer software for RECORDING, COMPOSING, MIXING and MASTERING songs. You will also learn microphone techniques for recording acoustic instruments and voice. With this knowledge you will be able to produce music in all genres: pop, hip hop, rock, EDM, etc.

Making your own music is a very personal practice that demands attention and care. It is comforting to learn the craft and to know what to focus on now and what to deal later in the process. This way you can let your creativity lead the way and take care of the technical details after on. With this course, you'll learn the KNOW-HOW of making your own music from start to finish. We will go through; inspiration, composing, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and release. You will understand the conceptual frame and the technical craft behind them. In no time you will start applying them to your own workflow as well, no matter what genre you are interested in, electronic, pop, jazz, indie, experimental, classical, and so on. I try to make sure all my students leave the class with a new idea, a fascination, or a new question in their minds about whatever they want to do but most importantly with a smile. The music gathers people, and so is making it. That's why the lessons can flow into a conversation, a joke, a listening discussion, and a feedback session in which we become not only a teacher and a student but hopefully also friends. We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation. I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022. Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

Ableton Live is a powerful program to play, compose and improvise music with. This course provides hands-on experience in producing, mixing, and sound design with a digital audio workstation. Students will learn the fundamentals characteristics of sound and digital audio, creative ways of composing music and an introduction to signal processing such as equalization, compression, delay, and reverb. In addition to core audio and mixing concepts, students will learn various production techniques, such as sequencing, arranging, automation, using virtual instruments (eg synths, samplers, and drum machine plugins), working with MIDI, plugin formats such as VST / Audio -Units, and mapping digital USB controllers for the studio and live performances. Let's get started!

Learn to translate your creative ideas into your music! During these lessons you learn composition techniques to create your own compositions or to improve them. Techniques to help you to give a voice to your musical ideas! Your tunes for several instrumentations, e.g.: strings, woodwinds, brasses, percussion, jazz, pop/rock, or various combinations. We discuss what your musical preferences are and which way we go. In any case, fun is paramount! There's also the possibility to learn about Harmony and Keyboard Voicings (Chords/Harmony), and/or Jazz Hanon (Chord-Melody). These methods can be put into practice with Harmony Progressions (also with your own Compositions/Tunes, etc.), so we we can see how Harmony works with the concept of Functional Harmony and beyond. The lessons are for all ages/levels and are taught in Dutch, English, Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese. Online lessons are also possible via Skype, Zoom or Face Time!

In my lessons, I offer the study of vocal technique but above all I offer fun. I am convinced that singing is first of all therapeutic. Start the new course learning to play piano! I am a professional classical pianist, accompanist, creator, and composer with a Bachelor's Degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatorium in the Hague. For 7 years now, I have been teaching students of all levels between 5 and 60 years old. Lessons are based on your level, interests, and goals. Together we can find out if you are keener on classical repertoire, or if you want to play your favorite pop music, some beautiful soundtrack from a movie you like or compose/improvise new pieces. With my experience in teaching diverse genres, I will help you explore the music that you like. The central pillars I always work with are technique and creativity, which are much more connected than you would expect! While we advance, I also introduce the basics (or more deeply, if you are interested) of music theory to learn to communicate with each other in musical terms (chords, keys, score reading, etc.). An accessible instrument and a chameleon, the recorder opens the doors to all styles: classical music and particularly early music, but also traditional music (French, Irish...), jazz, contemporary... It is learned young, even very young, or later, when the desire takes you and curiosity torments you!
