Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in live performances and studio sessions working with various artists and bands. For over a decade, I have served as a music theory and guitar teacher and tutor in esteemed music schools and in private, helping students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching success is evident in the remarkable achievements of my students, as I have guided them towards scholarships and degrees with exceptional outcomes. As a solo artist, my primary focus is on guitar techniques, improvisation, composition in Rock, Metal, indie ambient soundscapes, funky, and Jazz styles, as well as acoustic folk, bluegrass, fingerstyle and manouche. I am well known for being friendly, passionate, and supportive in my teaching approach. I offer lessons in both English and Greek. My name is Andrea , I am a professional double bass player who obtained the Master Degree in classical Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am active as a Double Bass player in different orchestras and ensembles, having the chance to perform in the most famous theathers of The Netherlands. Active not only as a Double Bass player but also really strong preparation with bass guitar, recently I published my research "The bass guitar in the contemporary music" for the Society of Artistic Research. About Harmony Course: Students learn principles of linear harmonic continuity and guide tone lines; minor key harmony; subdominant minor; blues theory and chord progressions. Students also learn melodic rhythm, form, and melody/harmony relationship. - Stylistic Composition Courses - About Counterpoint Course: We will explore the mechanics of basic contrapuntal technique, focusing on the horizontal aspects of composition; in other words, how melodies interact with one another. The course begins with writing a simple melodic line that works with an existing melody. About Fugue Course: A fugue is a multi-voice musical form that hinges on counterpoint between voices. The pupil will compose fugues for a single instrument (most notably a piano or other keyboard instrument), or they can write them for several individual players.

When I was eight I saw a bassoon for the first time, I felt in love with it and I started having lessons. I love to share my passion with my students. I have experience teaching kids and adults, and I adapt the lessons to your needs, preferences and level. Apprendre par l’expérience du corps permet d’aborder toutes ces choses d’une manière dirigée et facilement accessible La compréhension du rapport entre son et corps, c’est surtout comprendre que par l’apprentissage on unifie des éléments séparés. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.
