I'm a professional drummer from Spain, but living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I have studied Latin drums at Codarts, university of the arts, in Rotterdam, so I've acquired a lot of knowledge and skills on Cuban and Brazilian music, jazz, funk and Pop. Hi! I'm Marcello and I come from Italy. I've been playing the drums for more than half of my life and a few years ago I moved to the Netherlands to pursue a music education and to establish myself in The Hague as a professional musician and teacher. I graduated from the Royal Conservatoire and minored in classical percussion in the summer of 2022 and I am currently studying drums and composition in the Master programme. I usually focus on the technical aspects of music, but the lesson plan will vary according to the student's needs. We can get as serious about playing as you wish! So I advise you to have an idea of what you want to play but, if that's not the case, I'll be happy to share my passion and my favourite artists with you!

Trained at the conservatory, then at the Progressive Drum School, I then sought to improve myself by taking private lessons from references such as Loïc Pontieux, Franky Costanza, Kevin Reveyrend or Franck Aghulon. I have taught drums and music theory to students of all ages, all levels and in different contexts: recreational practice, exam preparation, putting on shows. I have also conducted musical workshops for organizations such as youth centers, elementary or nursery schools, and social centers, for projects ranging from musical awareness to the production of shows or music videos. I therefore have very comprehensive teaching experience and know how to adapt to different audiences. Now being a full-time professional musician, I also want to share my professional experience with students. During my teaching career I have questioned myself a lot about the problem of the teaching method because there is no single model of student and giving a course is not just giving a list of exercises. So I try to understand the student and advise him on the best method and the best pace of practice.
