Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.). The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals. Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

I share you my skills in playing the double bass with different techniques for jazz, classical, early music as well as arranging, composition, harmony and rhythm. I have masters in early music and classical double bass from Royal Conservatory of The Hague and active as jazz musician.

I have dedicated most of my life to the study of music and composition. In our lessons, no matter what the level of proficiency, we will study the works of great masters of this art. Alongside the technical skills for composition and analysis of works from all eras (from Baroque to 21st Century), there will be a portion of each lesson dedicated to the history of music composition.
