I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts freely. I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will be special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed, and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities. Making your own music is a very personal practice that demands attention and care. It is comforting to learn the craft and to know what to focus on now and what to deal later in the process. This way you can let your creativity lead the way and take care of the technical details after on. With this course, you'll learn the KNOW-HOW of making your own music from start to finish. We will go through; inspiration, composing, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and release. You will understand the conceptual frame and the technical craft behind them. In no time you will start applying them to your own workflow as well, no matter what genre you are interested in, electronic, pop, jazz, indie, experimental, classical, and so on. I try to make sure all my students leave the class with a new idea, a fascination, or a new question in their minds about whatever they want to do but most importantly with a smile. The music gathers people, and so is making it. That's why the lessons can flow into a conversation, a joke, a listening discussion, and a feedback session in which we become not only a teacher and a student but hopefully also friends. Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation. I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022. Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

I hope to share the joy of playing the double bass and the piano through teaching. It is so pleasant to make music and I wish to let more people know about it. The classes are very flexible. You can expect leisure music playing but also intensive trainings. Lessons will be designed according to students’ intentions. I am able to teach in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. I started playing the piano when I was 10. On top of classical, I also play a lot of Christian and pop music on the piano, which I am also happy to teach.

Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

Ableton Live is a powerful program to play, compose and improvise music with. This course provides hands-on experience in producing, mixing, and sound design with a digital audio workstation. Students will learn the fundamentals characteristics of sound and digital audio, creative ways of composing music and an introduction to signal processing such as equalization, compression, delay, and reverb. In addition to core audio and mixing concepts, students will learn various production techniques, such as sequencing, arranging, automation, using virtual instruments (eg synths, samplers, and drum machine plugins), working with MIDI, plugin formats such as VST / Audio -Units, and mapping digital USB controllers for the studio and live performances. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra). I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students! Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! Hi, I am Zalan! Are you considering to become a bass player? Are you interested in improvisation? Do you want to play in a band? Or are you on the way to become a musician already, but you need some extra help? You are in the right place then. I am a professionally educated bass guitarist and teacher from Hungary, currently based in The Hague (Freshly graduated in master education at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague) I am an active musician since 2014, I have played in several formations from solo performances to bigbands and orchestras. I mostly play in the genres of jazz (free, fusion), metal, repetitive minimal music and contemporary classical music. Besides playing I am quite passionate about teaching, during my bachelor studies I have started to teach in music schools and also in private, and teaching since then. I can teach you jazz theory, composition and my own teaching method too in a very clear way. My view on music is simple: Music is a game, that is why we call it "playing" music. Nowadays, composing music using technology creates endless creative possibilities that demand the musician/composer to adapt to numerous technical and artistic challenges. Do you like experimenting with sound and making music that does not clearly belong to a particular genre or style? Interested in bringing a fresh perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to your music production? Are you just starting out in electronic music composition and wondering how to develop your own style? This course is just what you need. In this class, you will learn: - how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques. - how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music. - how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques. - how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition. - about the theory and practice of free improvisation. - about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today. - how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice. - how to create an artistic portfolio. Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.). The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals. Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

Learn to translate your creative ideas into your music! During these lessons you learn composition techniques to create your own compositions or to improve them. Techniques to help you to give a voice to your musical ideas! Your tunes for several instrumentations, e.g.: strings, woodwinds, brasses, percussion, jazz, pop/rock, or various combinations. We discuss what your musical preferences are and which way we go. In any case, fun is paramount! There's also the possibility to learn about Harmony and Keyboard Voicings (Chords/Harmony), and/or Jazz Hanon (Chord-Melody). These methods can be put into practice with Harmony Progressions (also with your own Compositions/Tunes, etc.), so we we can see how Harmony works with the concept of Functional Harmony and beyond. The lessons are for all ages/levels and are taught in Dutch, English, Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese. Online lessons are also possible via Skype, Zoom or Face Time!
