Hello, I come from France and French is my mother tongue. As a passionate teacher, I offer French courses for all: children, teenagers, and adults. I love to teach and adapt to each of my students according to their motivations and needs. We will be able to work together on oral expression and it will of course also be possible to deepen your knowledge of conjugation, spelling, grammar, reading... I offer teaching adapted to students whose mother tongue is French but I am also trained to teach FLE (French as a Foreign Language). I can also help students to prepare for the DELF and GCSE exams. I have lived in France my whole life and graduated from there with a 'mention très bien' French Baccalaureat. Being used to the French system and curses, I mainly offer my help to people whose children go to French schools. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language.
