There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!

My lesson will depend on each student's goal. If you are a student who wants to learn an instrument as a hobby and has never had contact with an instrument before, I will teach you the basics (from holding the violin and bow and playing easy tunes on the violin to teaching how to read notes and rhythms). If you are a student with years of experience and already know the basics, I can help you with the repertoire you are playing, or give you and prepare new pieces with you, I will help you improve your practice sessions and help you prepare auditions or performances. I give lessons in English or Portuguese but can also manage to speak Spanish

I’m a violinist who just graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Under Eliot Lawson’s tutoring, and who now studies with Lisa Jacobs. I have a lot of experience teaching and performing in several countries around Europe. During my lessons, I hope to not only help you become a better violinist and overall musician, so I will not only give you musical and technical insight, but also a sprinkle of music theory. But most importantly, I will put my effort to make a musician out of you. I have so much stage experience as soloist and in orchestra around the world. During my education I had years of Music Theory lessons and I can teach and explain theoretical part of music also.

Teaching music is teaching a new language. A language that must be learned in all its different forms (speaking/playing, listening, reading and writing) in order to be understood. One of my main interests as a piano teacher is to provide the students with the most possible instruments for their own development, in order to awaken in them the consciousness of being as they play their instrument. In the current experience, everything is moving ahead of you at a very fast pace and almost even digested. To come into contact with the art of playing the piano is to immerse yourself in the most beautiful experience of self-discovery while making music, in a bottomless sea of inner growth.
