I am here in Graz studying classical singing and opera performance in Master's programme. I come from Estonia and there, aside from singing studies, I worked as a teacher of music theory subjects (solfeggio, prima vista, basic theory) at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College (conservatory level) for 4 years (2018-2022) and was the head teacher of the department for music theory for 2 years (2020-2022). I also had multiple private students and offered a course to help people prepare their music theory knowledge and skills for the entrance exams to the conservatory. I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have lately been dedicating special attention to the performance practice of the baroque and classical eras so you are welcome to consult me on this topic as well as any other violin playing aspect. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
