I am here in Graz studying classical singing and opera performance in Master's programme. I come from Estonia and there, aside from singing studies, I worked as a teacher of music theory subjects (solfeggio, prima vista, basic theory) at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College (conservatory level) for 4 years (2018-2022) and was the head teacher of the department for music theory for 2 years (2020-2022). I also had multiple private students and offered a course to help people prepare their music theory knowledge and skills for the entrance exams to the conservatory. Nevertheless, it is important to me to teach you proper playing technique right from the start. To me: I completed my diploma studies in violin performance in Innsbruck and also completed my bachelor's degree in instrumental pedagogy at the Mozarteum Salzburg. I am currently studying at the Graz University of Art, where I am pursuing two master's degrees, one in violin performance and one in chamber music. Viola lessons offer a comprehensive introduction to playing the viola, a string instrument with a warm, deep sound. The lessons are aimed at beginners to moderately advanced players. Students learn basic techniques such as bowing, posture and reading music as well as advanced playing techniques, including vibrato, double stops and phrasing. The focus is on improving playing technique, musical expressiveness and understanding different musical styles, from baroque to modern.
