Together we can improve your flute sound, fulfill your repertoire wishes, simply learn the instrument and most importantly - have fun with music! Everyone is welcome - beginners and advanced learners, we will find the right form of teaching. We will make music together, read music and discuss the basics of music theory. I'm Kate, I come from Latvia, I've been playing the flute for 13 years and I'm currently studying with the principal flutist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. • I try to be creative in my lessons and it is important to me that the students are not physically or mentally tense when playing. I also teach basic theoretical knowledge that makes playing the piano easier and if the students have an inclination or interest in improvisation, I develop these skills as well. • Since I have had many different students with many different needs, I can adapt the lessons to your individual needs.

I am offering music theory lessons (ear training, sight reading) for beginners or for students of music on different levels. I am here in Graz studying classical singing and opera performance in Master's programme. I come from Estonia and there, aside from singing studies, I worked as a teacher of music theory subjects (solfeggio, prima vista, basic theory) at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College (conservatory level) for 4 years (2018-2022) and was the head teacher of the department for music theory for 2 years (2020-2022). I also had multiple private students and offered a course to help people prepare their music theory knowledge and skills for the entrance exams to the conservatory. Based on the student's needs and technical capabilities we will work together on a piece/song that a student might want to learn. Additionally, in order to improve the playing and to understand the piece better, we will work on the playing technique, harmony, and music theory of the piece/song.! It is possible for us to work in person also!

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

Hi! I am a professional pianist with over 15 years of formal education. I have won numerous prizes on competitions all over Europe, and had many live performances. Currently, I am studying as a post-graduate student at the Kunst University in Graz, with a Master's degree in piano and piano pedagogy from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. I offer piano lessons at your home, aimed for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. We can work on any genre of music as long as we can find a suitable music score for it. Hi! My name is Anže. I am 24 years old and I come from Slovenia. At the moment I am doing my Bachelor in Jazz saxophone at KUG. Do you want to learn how to play saxophone or clarinet? You already know something and want to know even more? Do you like music theory or maybe you love to arrange music?

In these lessons you will learn how to study and play the piano. You can ask for specific pieces that you really want to play, or we can start togheter a training with exercises and pieces. I also teach sightreading (how to read a score!), how to play with singers or other musicians and solfeggio. Regarding composition, I can give you the first base and teach how to approach, how to analyse a piece, and how to train the ear, and a bit of harmony and contrapoint.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
