My name is Giuseppe and I'm an Italian musician living in Graz. Before moving, I worked as a guitar and music theory teacher at a music school, as I have a degree in electric guitar. During my studies and my work as a player and teacher, I studied and played different types of music, from blues, rock, to the most extreme metal. I am available for online and private lessons, but also as a session man in the studio or for concerts. During the lessons we will deepen the different aspects and techniques of the instrument and combine practice and theory.

You can learn to play the classical guitar from the beginner to an advanced level on the lessons with me. My main goal is to teach my student very strong basic skills with which one can develop her-/himself later on her/his own. Personalized Repertoire: Together, we'll curate a repertoire that aligns with your preferences and aspirations. This ensures a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience as we work towards mastering suggested and favorite pieces. Joyful Learning: Music is an expression of joy, and I believe that learning should reflect that. Each lesson is designed to be engaging, interactive, and inspiring, fostering an environment where your passion for the classical guitar can truly flourish. Based on the student's needs and technical capabilities we will work together on a piece/song that a student might want to learn. Additionally, in order to improve the playing and to understand the piece better, we will work on the playing technique, harmony, and music theory of the piece/song.! It is possible for us to work in person also!

Hello, and welcome to my Guitar Courses page. I am a graduate of Kunstuniversität Graz (BA in Jazz Guitar, currently in my Master studies) and have been teaching for the past 9 years, started from Athens (Greece) and currently in Graz (Austria). Every student/musician has different needs, so each course is adapted to the students' needs. Topics that can be discussed/ taught in class: 1) Guitar/ Fretboard knowledge: It is really important to know your instrument, and it makes it much easier to learn songs you like, etc! 2) Accompaniment for songs: Chords, rhythmic patterns for them depending on the song style, strumming/finger techniques, etc. 3) Improvisation: Get the tools you need (arpeggios, triads, theory, lines) to play the music you like (mostly advised for Jazz) 4) Rhythm 5) Harmony, Modern music theory, and composition. 6) Technique: Alternate picking, sweep picking, hybrid, legato playing, etc. 7) Repertoire according to your musical taste (from Rock, Jazz, Pop, Funk style, etc.) I am looking forward to working with you to achieve your goals!

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. Avec 7 ans d’expérience derrière moi et une quarantaine d’élèves ,je pense que meilleure méthode de cours se base sur une approche transversale, liant dès le début l’apprentissage corporel de l’instrument à l'intention musicale de l'élève. Comment exprimer telle ou telle émotion sur le piano avec notre corps ? Que l’on apprenne le piano simplement pour le plaisir ou vers une professionnalisation, cette approche s’adapte au désirs de tous. Adultes et enfants de tout âge sont les bienvenus, le premier cours étant toujours offert, chez moi sur un piano à Queue. En dehors du Piano Classique et du solfège, on peut aussi aborder le Piano Jazz, l’improvisation, la composition et les traditions musicales Indiennes et Indonésiennes. Avec les enfants, cela prend la forme d'une didactique adaptée à l'âge, ludique, avec laquelle je cerne un ou deux objectifs spécifiques à accomplir qui permettent de communiquer des notions complexes d’une manière simple. Apprendre par l’expérience du corps permet d’aborder toutes ces choses d’une manière dirigée et facilement accessible La compréhension du rapport entre son et corps, c’est surtout comprendre que par l’apprentissage on unifie des éléments séparés. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Hello, my name is Francesca and I am David's 'assistant at the Conservatoire here in Brussels for Jazz Vocals. My lessons are preferably in english or italian but I can also manage in french. I teach techniques that are going not only tu assure you never get injured while singing, but it will be a journey that can also help you research your own voice and enjoy the possibilities of your own instrument.
