We can work on your technique and musicality or just learn how to play your favorite songs so you can show off to your friends ;) I think I am a really patient person and I believe that with hard work, anyone can achieve anything! The lessons are optimized for everyone: from beginners to experienced piano players.

I have many years of professional experience, master's degrees in both instruments, as well as in musicology. I focus on both musical and technical aspects of organ and piano playing and work with students of all levels and ages: from beginners to conservatoires. • I try to be creative in my lessons and it is important to me that the students are not physically or mentally tense when playing. I also teach basic theoretical knowledge that makes playing the piano easier and if the students have an inclination or interest in improvisation, I develop these skills as well. • Since I have had many different students with many different needs, I can adapt the lessons to your individual needs.

I am a cellist, composer and pianist from Chicago currently residing in Graz, Austria! I received my Bachelors in Cello and Composition in the USA from Indiana University and am currently pursuing my masters in Cello Konzertfach at Kunst Universität Graz. I have years of experience working as a private cello, piano and composition teacher. I am used teaching all levels, and have certification to teach string students as young as six years old from Indiana University's String Academy Program. In addition to teaching instrumental and composition lessons privately, I also have experience teaching music theory and aural skills as a graduate teaching assistant. I adjust my teaching based on what you or your child would like to learn. From helping you learn to play a Bach cello suite, to Bohemian Rhapsody on piano, or get feedback and mentorship on your own compositions, I would be happy to play a part in your musical journey! :)

Genre doesn't matter too much as my classes are more about composing electronic music in general. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
