My name is Janka and I study flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. I offer flute lessons for beginners and advanced players of all ages, whether performance-oriented or relaxed. I always base my lessons on the development, needs and wishes of my students, because the individuality of my students is particularly important to me. Of course, the fun and joy of making music are always the main focus. I make it a point to teach you a clean playing technique right from the start. Together we will find the right form of teaching. My flute lessons are available in a flexible time frame from 30 minutes to 1 hour, with a frequency of weekly or biweekly, depending on your preference. As a graduated flutist with a bachelor and master degree from the conservatory, where teaching was an important part of my education, I have experience with both group lessons and individual lessons. My method is focused on enthusiasm for music and flute playing, where I welcome every student, regardless of background, language or level. Everyone is welcome to start their musical journey with me!

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

Clarinet is a wonderful wind instrument that has a clear and warm sound and can play music of various genres. It sounds great in classical music, jazz, pop, folk music and many many others. I offer saxophone lessons (all types of saxophones) for all ages from 7 years old, all levels combined, and in various styles. Certified teacher for over 30 years, I teach in conservatories and also in workshops and masterclasses in European universities and conservatories. My teaching approach emphasizes the pleasure of playing, well-being, posture, breathing, embouchure, sound quality, and the discovery of the repertoire, with a solid technical base. I teach my students to master sound, basic techniques, finger dexterity, and explore various styles. They also have the opportunity to practice the main types of saxophones. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.
