Callie is a passionate teacher with over more than 10 years’ of experience in teaching music and singing both in the UK and across the world. I have a suitcase full of tools and tricks to help my students develop in their vocal and musical abilities. I promise that lessons with her will be uplifting, challenging, inspiring, with a bunch of humor, enthusiasm and passion. I am an opera singer, and have a masters in Vocal Performance, but enjoy teaching all singing styles. I have experience in teaching students from the age of 9 to 72, from beginners to advanced and professional singers. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Your profile (temperament, personality, individuality), since not all people learn in the same way. These two points are very important to me, so that the class experience is something dynamic (whether it is a child, a teenager, an adult or a group). The place of the class, a time in which we learn by having fun and enjoying the process of learning.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification.
