Together we will go through the use of Vibraphone as a solo instrument and its role in an ensemble as an accompanying or improvisational instrument. From classical to jazz/pool/rock this instrument has so much to offer in colors, pedal use, 2 or 4 sticks, effects and more to breathe a full and unique new life into any ensemble. Marimba lessons can be given at the student's home if he/she has one, at my home there is a vibraphone.

As an experienced saxophonist I like to pass on my knowledge in an adapted, easy way. From the beginning, the focus is on what you want to learn to play yourself. If you do not yet have solfège knowledge, this will be learned while playing the saxophone. In terms of difficulty, I have experience with all levels of saxophonists ranging from young children to retirees who still want to fulfill their dream as a musician. I have been performing since 2016, in folk, pop and jazz ensembles around Italy and now I am continuing my music studies in Valencia, at the Berklee College of Music. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
