English, French and homework lessons with a nice and smiling student

As a math teacher, I offer private lessons in science subjects. My classes are mainly aimed at cycle and college students in Geneva, as well as students from private schools. I can also help people who have already finished their schooling but who need to upgrade their knowledge for professional needs. I am generally available within 3 days of your request and I move around the canton of Geneva using public transport (TPG). Travel costs are included in my rates. For a long-term follow-up, I can give you exercises to do between sessions and correct them at home. I speak and understand English, but my lessons will be mainly in French. I am ready to adapt my teaching according to your specific needs and to provide personalized support to help you progress in scientific subjects. The form of the lessons adapts to the specific requests, needs and problems of the student. It may include one or more of the following: - help with homework - proofreading/corrections of written work - revisions for exams, essays, courses - help with presentations, talks etc. - learning English through exercises and/or conversations I also generally help with: - organization of a work / review plan, with creation of a calendar, division of labor etc. - memorization: different techniques and advice - the methodology: how to be efficient in your work and in your reading, how to take good notes etc. - concentration and stress management - general advice My studies at university allow me to have access to rare and useful resources for learning English, which can enrich the courses. They also helped me to be more efficient in researching and citing useful sources for courses, dissertations, presentations etc. Lessons can be given at the student's home, in a municipal library, in a UNIGE building, or by webcam (for example via Jitsi, which is free, practical, and has always worked well with my students).
