I offer private lessons for adults of all levels, in Geneva and Lausanne. I am a graduate of the Vienna University of Art and Music and a winner of international competitions. I have participated in numerous competitions, masterclasses, festivals (solo and chamber music) and I like to share my experiences, my passion and motivation with my students. I listen to the student to adapt to their desires and objectives.

Course description: This violin lesson is designed for music enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to more advanced musicians. With my expertise and my experience, you will benefit from a personalized education, focused on the development of your technical and artistic skills. Each lesson will be tailored to your specific needs and musical goals. Course content : For beginners, we'll start with learning the basics of the violin, including how to hold a violin, bow, and find the best way to play. For intermediates, we're going to see the improvement in technique for intermediate levels, focusing more on intonation, articulation and bow control. In any case, we will explore the classical repertoire and well-known melodies to develop your musical sensitivity, to be chosen together. :) At the end we will find together an effective way for the work to be done at home! As a dedicated violin and piano instructor with a completed violin performance major as a Bachelor of Music student an AMusA diploma in piano, I offer personalized music education both online and in-person (St. Gallen, Switzerland from 2025). I propose an individualized pedagogy for children or adults, a help to the preparation of the exams or simply to discover the great pleasure of the music through the violin or the viola. All ages, all levels.

With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. I often play chamber music (piano/violin) or violin duets with my students. My course is aimed at anyone who has the time to work on their instrument, children from 4 or 5 years old, adolescents, seasoned amateurs, beginners or advanced adults... Hi, I'm Caitlin! I have been playing violin/viola for almost 30 years and teaching it for 15 years! I have travelled all over the world playing. I have enjoyed studying with some of the greatest teachers such as Sally Thomas and Kurt Nikkanen. Teaching is my passion and I have a studio of 60+ students of all ages, abilities, and techniques! Lessons for all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. Learning how to start playing the violin or mastering your skills and meeting your goals. I teach all types of technique from Suzuki to traditional to fiddle!

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I will work with you to deveop a bespoke course to help you develop skills in improvisation. Areas covered: Jazz improvisation - Blues, Standards, Harmony, Bass Lines, Finding Chords, Building and Creating Solos, Elarnig repertoire. Baroque Imrpovisation - Ground Bass, Partimento realisation and developing cadenzas for classical repertoire Free/Folk and other styles - we can explore any styles of improvisation, and discuss how to develop your skills. I am a professor of Imrpovisation at the Royal Colege of Music in London, and a composer and performer of my own music internationally.

I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone.
