Private French lessons at primary/cycle level

Teacher in activity and graduate (Master, Doctorate and pedagogical diploma in Philosophy, Master in French Literature) gives private lessons in philosophy (Maturity, French Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate), French, English and theory of knowledge or theory of knowledge TOK (IB), in French or English. Philosophy, English and French Theory of knowledge qualified teacher gives private lessons in French or English in the following subjects: - French language / cours de français (beginners, intermediate, advanced) Conversation courses / preparation for exams (DELF / DALF) - French literature / school / university French course - Theory of knowledge / Theory of knowledge (IB Diploma) - English or French as a second language (Secondary 1 and 2) - Philosophy (in French or English) -Psychology (in French or English) Highly knowledgeable in: International Baccalaureate, Maturité Suisse, French Baccalaureate.

The form of the lessons adapts to the specific requests, needs and problems of the student. It may include one or more of the following: - help with homework - proofreading/corrections of written work - revisions for exams, essays, courses - help with presentations, talks etc. - learning English through exercises and/or conversations I also generally help with: - organization of a work / review plan, with creation of a calendar, division of labor etc. - memorization: different techniques and advice - the methodology: how to be efficient in your work and in your reading, how to take good notes etc. - concentration and stress management - general advice My studies at university allow me to have access to rare and useful resources for learning English, which can enrich the courses. They also helped me to be more efficient in researching and citing useful sources for courses, dissertations, presentations etc. Lessons can be given at the student's home, in a municipal library, in a UNIGE building, or by webcam (for example via Jitsi, which is free, practical, and has always worked well with my students).

My support classes are there to help all students who are in need to fill gaps in language subjects. Having a BACHELOR diploma for primary education, I was able to accumulate experience in order to offer quality services to children who need them. Motivated, serious, caring and stress-free in nature, I wish to help children and give them tools that they can use independently in order to understand the content worked in the field of algae in a more serene manner (French, German and English).

A 22-year-old student, I will be starting a Bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Geneva in September. I obtained my high school diploma in 2020. I have always been strong in languages, and in particular in French and English. I love children, and I like to offer my help, that's why I offer to help children who need support in one of these branches, or in these two branches.

Being currently in master's degree in physics, I offer private lessons or tutoring in all fields of mathematics and physics, whether for cycle or college students, or for university students. I also offer French lessons for anyone with a non-French mother tongue.

Young student living in Bernex offers private lessons in French, German and Spanish. I am native German but I did all my schooling in French and I also lived a year in Ecuador, South America. I can move around Geneva and around Geneva as well as in Lausanne (also from Epalinges to Oron). I am a patient, motivated and responsible person.

French courses (FLE / FLI) all levels: the courses are personalized according to the objectives to be achieved (DELF / DALF exams, FIDE language test, preparation for interviews, integration, professional, etc.). The courses that I can give will be according to the profiles, I am currently a student in psychology at the University of Geneva, the years in college have trained me to teach students mathematics, French, history and the history of art. I offer tutoring for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour or 1.5 hours for children aged 6 to 12 who need help with math, French, English or German. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
