I have several years of experience as a coach in France and teaching at the university level in Canada, where I have worked with anglophone and francophone students. Hello! I am a Russian native speaker, a holder of a degree in Linguistics and Translation and a very dedicated tutor. I offer Russian language courses which will help you to master Russian in a short period of time. During my classes, you will have a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of listening, speaking, writing and reading activities. We will focus on essential vocabulary, common phrases and, of course, grammar. My lessons are well-structured and I always have a special approach to each student, explaining all the material in tiny details. I have lived and studied abroad, so my English is fluent, and I will explain all the rules in a very accessible manner. By the end of the intensive course you will be able to: - Express your thoughts and ideas in Russian - Understand Russian native speakers - Advance your Russian vocabulary of various topics I am looking forward to teaching you!

The first course will allow us to highlight the points to work on. Thereafter, the lessons will be adapted to your needs and your pace. Homework will generally be given after each lesson (unless the student does not wish). I also work with groups of 2-3 students. I will also help you prepare for the TRKI exam, organize your holidays in Russian-speaking countries or even learn to cook small Russian dishes. During my classes, I offer a lot of interactions through various situations which allow us to imagine contexts that are familiar to us and to benefit more from learning. I also suggest analyzing short videos or music by taking notes as well as games adapted to the age of the person which stimulate interest in the course. Myself, having difficulties learning languages at the start of my adolescence, I was able to create methods to adapt and facilitate the understanding of the construction of languages that I like to transmit to my students. Hi, My name is Katarina Viktoria and I am a multi-cultured music student. I was born in Latvia to a Ukrainian/Russian mother and a Swedish father. At the age of 3 we moved to Switzerland where I grew up in a German and Swiss German environment and these two languages became native to me. During my life in Switzerland we moved to the US for a year where I learned English and went to primary school. Later in life I moved to the Netherlands to study Classical Voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I grew up in a big family with lots of kids (I have 9 siblings), I know how to communicate with kids of various ages and how to teach them in a playful matter. I love cpommunicating with people, which is also the base of my classes. How I build up my classes always depends on my student’s wishes, whether it’s the wish to improve their communication skills or to work on their grammar. I try to make my lessons as interesting as possible, using different exercises to playfully learn the language. I always aim for variations, we speak, we write, we read and we listen. I can also give homework and correct it, if that’s what the student wants. If the wish is only to communicate and to improve the pronounciation, that’s also fine by me. I love helping and supporting people in becoming their best version, so whatever makes you happy makes me happy :) I love seeing my students improve, it motivates me to go on and support them in their language skills even more!
