Hello! My name is Beatriz and I am a violin and viola teacher! I have a bachelor's degree in music and two master's degrees in music performance! Come learn with me to play this incredible instrument! I teach all ages and levels! I've been playing since I was 4 years old. From a young age, I knew I wanted to do music, and I had the opportunity to work with amazing musicians of different nationalities and with different teaching styles. I recently completed my master's degree in musical performance at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève (HEM) and entered the DAS program with the Orchester de la Suisse Romande. Currently graduated from the Master of Music Pedagogy at the University of Music of Geneva, professional violist in the Galaad quartet and in the Camerata du Léman, I propose courses of ALTO or VIOLON to make you love and discover the beauty of music. I offer regular and stimulating tutoring for all ages and all levels. I have a very good contact with children. Built and modular method (including solfeggio work), adapted to the needs and objectives of each to promote progression and the pleasure of playing in the search for sound. My courses offer: - introductory elements for beginners with solid postural foundations - a simple and attentive accompaniment for amateurs who sometimes wish to resume this practice after a long break - Accurate and rigorous coaching for motivated students who are heading for professional studies. Are addressed: - the study of the body gesture (breath release, postural support, stretching, importance and respect of the body) - ear development (singing, correctness) - the analytical mind (methodological structure, note reading and reinforced rhythm) - the inner musical expression that guides all the faculties (awareness of the inner song). *Development of competencies* Violin/viola students will learn a wide range of musical repertoire from popular children's songs to classical works. In the classes they will learn how to hold the instrument, the care of the viola/violin, and what is involved in playing it, where they will be given the technical musical tools to develop their maximum potential in order to play the violin with a pleasant, grandiloquent sound and enjoy each note through the stroke of the bow on the strings.

Passionate violist and student at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, I hope to be able to transmit the taste for this instrument, by teaching as well as by playing it. I have been lucky enough to teach for more than 4 years now, to private students or as a substitute in conservatories in the Paris region when I was a student, and it is a real pleasure, week after week, d '' observe and participate in the progress of a young musician. Music for all ages and all tastes, I offer fun, individual or group musical awakening lessons as well as violin, viola and viola da gamba lessons. (The latter is a bit exotic and discovery sessions are possible for lovers of early music as well as for the curious) Each student has their ambitions and desires, so it is important to tailor-made education with personalized objectives. Graduated from the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, the Royal Academy of Music in London as well as the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, I perfected both ancient and modern music. I have been fortunate enough to be able to live in the UK for several years, which results in an excellent knowledge of the ABRSM structure in which 100% of the exams presented by my students have been passed.

With over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, I’ve developed a unique method that combines the essential skill of reading sheet music with learning to play basic tunes by ear. Hi I'm Daniel and I've been teaching the violin with passion and dedication since 2010. I've probably taught over a hundred students of all ages, levels and walks of life, from very beginners and children to aspiring professionals and mature enthusiasts — I really enjoy working and interacting with everybody. I've been playing violin since I was six, and was lucky to have amazing teachers and exceptional musicians from Russia, Israel, Poland, and USA, who tutored and mentored me over the years, contributing to my knowledge of almost every possible technique, style, and method of playing of this complex and challenging instrument. I'm also a professional viola player and I could teach it happily as well. My diverse interest, passion, and experience in the musical world has led me to collaborate and perform with some renowned international artists in the classical, pop, folk, klezmer, jazz, and rock genres — some of these names would include Zubin Mehta, Mischa Maisky, Andres Mustonen, Lord of the Dance, Ariel Zilber, Giora Feidman, Omri Mor, Yonatan Razel.

My course is for all types of people (young, old, old) who want to make music later or just for leisure, whatever, the main thing is to get started! Viola and violin lessons suited for all ages and levels! I am originally form Argentina, and a recent graduate form the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (with a Masters degree in music performance -viola). I have lived in many different countries and played with a variety of ensembles, I am sure together we will find the best way to learn and practice these beatiful instruments in the best possible way (: Classes can be offered in English, Portuguese, or Spanish (French coming soon!) For the younger ones, lessons will be oriented towards the Suzuki method (until ages 12/13)
