Hello, my name is Cristina, I am a native Italian speaker, I have been living here in Friborg for a long time. I lived and worked in Italy for 15 years, I have an advanced Italian language state exam, I speak Italian with a mother tongue level. My first language was English, followed by German and Italian, and the last time I started learning a whole new language, French, was 1 year ago. Today, I also speak French fluently because I studied the language with perseverance and with the already proven language learning methods, practicing it every day. I think the key to learning a language is regular and continuous practice - unfortunately language takes revenge because if you don't use it your knowledge will wear thin. I generally dedicate part of the class to teach grammar in an interactive way, following a book and proposing exercise I create myself to the students. Then I dedicate part of the class to the conversation, so that listening and speaking skills of the student can improve. If the student is at an intermediate or advanced level, I give them more insight about the evolution of Italian language, making reference to Latin and to Italian literature.
