Master Organic and Inorganic Chemistry with an Experienced PhD Student: From Nomenclature to Reactions, and others chemistry-related courses

Learn Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Easily with a PhD Student

Hi! I’m a PhD student about to finish my thesis, and I’m here to help you with organic and inorganic chemistry. Whether you’re just starting or need help with advanced topics, I can guide you through everything step by step.

In organic chemistry, I’ll teach you the basics like naming molecules (nomenclature) and explain different functional groups. We’ll cover topics like hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, and acids. I’ll also help you understand chemical reactions like substitution, addition, elimination, and oxidation-reduction. Whether it’s learning about stereochemistry or how to create molecules (synthesis), I’ll make it all simple and clear for you.

For inorganic chemistry, we’ll explore atoms, periodic trends, and transition metals. We’ll also look at interesting topics like coordination chemistry, molecular orbitals, and electrochemistry.

We can also cover any basic chemistry topics you need help with, like understanding the periodic table, chemical bonds, or states of matter.

    My Teaching Style
I believe learning chemistry should be simple and fun. I explain things in a way that makes even difficult ideas easy to understand. I break everything down so it’s clear, no matter your level. You’ll find chemistry much easier with my approach!

Biochemistry and Chemistry for Medicine, Nutrition, and other Health Sciences
Struggling to make sense of biochemistry? You're not alone – and there's a better way to learn. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I've seen how overwhelming biochemistry can feel. My sessions go beyond rotate memorization to give students a true understanding, rooted in practical applications and clinical cases. One of my recent students was a premed who initially found it impossible to connect pathways like glycolysis and the Krebs cycle. But through our sessions, she began seeing the bigger picture, visualizing how each molecule and enzyme plays a role in health and disease. Whether it's understanding enzyme kinetics or complex metabolic processes, I combine deep knowledge from my own research in computational biology with a teaching approach that makes each concept clear and memorable. This isn't just tutoring; it's an opportunity to truly learn biochemistry. Ready to transform your understanding? Let's work together to make biochemistry not just manageable, but fascinating. I have a flexible schedule, book a first class to talk about what are you struggling with. I'll design personalized classes to help you improve your grades and understand even the most complex concepts of medical biochemistry. 📚 Ready? Book your class today.
