Private French lessons for primary or secondary students

FLE teacher graduated from the Alliance française Bruxelles-Europe. I taught in Laos (1 year in a local school) in Peru (1 year in a college and in a French alliance), in Moscow (2 years in a private language school), in Brussels (6 month in an association that delivers courses to newcomers and the F9 for private and group lessons at the ULB). The type of teaching that I favor is based on active pedagogy, constant interaction of the learner with his teacher and his environment, a cultural exchange and a clear and precise understanding of the objectives to be achieved. To apply this practice I use a lot: authentic documents (radio and TV programs, articles, reports, songs, testimonials, ...), the role play (theatrical exercises), games are a founding element of my teaching (playful and recreational approach of the language), the debates (the experience and the personal history being the raw material to animate them), reading (books and comics: phonetics), the grammatical exercises in adequacy with the theme ( didactics of FLE and grammatical methodology)

You define the objective: my job is to enable you to reach it as quickly and as naturally as possible. The material and method correspond to your needs. Retired translator/journalist, I help you in the systematic study of grammar, with exercises, explanations and homework. Oral and written communication based on practice and exercises. Follow-up of tutoring provided and detailed review of unmastered material. Correction of pronunciation if necessary. Classes can be given in English or Italian if necessary. No very young children.

French pronunciation is a real challenge. The verbo tonal method, often used by speech therapists, is particularly suitable for correcting French pronunciation for those of you who are not French speakers but also for French speakers who wish to get rid of an accent. We will work on the sounds of the language integrated into the sentence, the rhythm, the intonation and considered as a living and evolving system. This method is very effective. You will see your progress very quickly and your self-confidence will allow you to overcome any reluctance you may have had before to express yourself in public. For others, having a more neutral pronunciation in French can be a significant asset professionally.

Master's degree in language teaching. Specialized in French as a foreign language (master at ULB) and Spanish as a foreign language (master in Spain). When the lesson is online, I use a platform that allows us to see and modify documents, images, and videos in real-time, which is very useful.
