Every lesson I would like to inspire you to get further, in a relaxed atmosphere and at your own pace. With over 30 years of experience, I have enough material to challenge you, but you can always come up with your own ideas.

Are you or your child interested in learning flute playing? I have experience in teaching solo flute , chamber music, orchestral repertoire more than 30 years . Either you are beginner or professional flute player who wants to improve any aspects on flute playing are welcome to study with me. I played many years in professional orchestras as principal flute and teached in conservatory to all levels and ages. I can help with the music theory lesson (solfege) as well for who needs to play music. Piano lessons for just beginners from all ages are welcome.

I am a highly qualified music teacher with a Baccalareus Degree from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) with Violin, Children's music, music theory and music pedagogy as my majors. If you or your child or both together want to learn to play the violin, have fun in a music movement class or learn music theory (writing your own songs etc), I am the teacher for you 🙂 I am learning Dutch, can speak it at an elementary level already and am fluent in English.

From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. Avec les enfants, cela prend la forme d'une didactique adaptée à l'âge, ludique, avec laquelle je cerne un ou deux objectifs spécifiques à accomplir qui permettent de communiquer des notions complexes d’une manière simple. Apprendre par l’expérience du corps permet d’aborder toutes ces choses d’une manière dirigée et facilement accessible La compréhension du rapport entre son et corps, c’est surtout comprendre que par l’apprentissage on unifie des éléments séparés. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Composition is one of most exam boards requirements for GCSE and A-level Music. In particular, to write a piece ranging from 2 - 3 minutes in length for either solo or chamber groups of instruments. I am majoring in composition at university and I specialise in tutoring music for students taking GCSE and/or A-level, having studied and taken these A-levels through the AQA Exam specification. Composition may appear overwhelming and it is my aim that my students will be able to find the beauty in writing music and being able to cope with the stresses of writing music; by equipping them with both the necessary skills of writing music, but also how to push through the various challenges that come with it (And perhaps most importantly, how to achieve excellent marks for your coursework)!
