As a student at EPFL in computer science and with a C2 level in English, I am very fluent in this language and I take great pleasure in sharing my knowledge in English, the language of Shakespeare. I adapt to all levels, whether you want to start in English, improve your level, better understand the concepts learned at school, or prepare for the SAT or TOEFL exams. Second year master's student in Energy Science at EPFL, and holder of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the same school, I offer mathematics and physics courses to students from EPFL, UNIL, gymnasium or college. During my studies, I built a solid scientific foundation, but also accumulated a lot of experience as a private teacher. In fact, for 4 years already, I have been teaching: - to first year bachelor's and master's students at EPFL in the mechanical, microtechnology, computer science and biological fields - to UNIL students in the biology, economics and maths sectors - to students in the gymnasium. - to middle school students These experiences allowed me to develop a better approach during my courses. I first try to understand what the student has understood, and what is not well understood. To do this, I suggest doing several exercises together. Then, I re-explain in a simpler way the part in which the student is having difficulty. Finally, I let the student do a new exercise on his own to see if the concept has been acquired. I am very happy to be able to help students in difficulty to progress, because for me the sharing of knowledge is very important. In particular, I was able to help students with weaknesses in mathematics and physics to pass their end-of-year exams.

I am a native English speaker. I have also studied the language to an advanced level in high school. I can offer fun and fully immersive conversation classes in which we can discuss topics of your choosing. Classes can be structured or more free-flowing conversation, depending on the desire/ability of the student. I can also simultaneously offer assistance in wording documents, emails, social media posts, speeches, essays etc. I am a masters student, having also previously worked in industry and therefore, I have experience in writing English in a professional context. I can offer classes to help in preparation for English language exams: High-school, TOEFL etc. Classes can be held here at EPFL where I study, at your home, or in a café (if it is not too noisy). I have previous experience as a high-school chemistry and science tutor.

Newly graduated from the Gymnase Français de Bienne with a matura certificate in specific option biology chemistry and complementary option physics.
