I am a Belgian native French speaker living in The Hague as an expat lawyer, and I offer conversation sessions to adults and teenagers who are willing to strengthen their skills in French. All conversation types, modalities, and formats are possible, according to your preferences. I also speak English and Arabic and understand Dutch and German.

I am a former IB student having taken Math, Physics and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL). I rather enjoyed these subjects and wish to channel my passion to my students, helping them reach the highest result that they deserve. I have good knowledge of the IB course structure and database, so can definitely help any grade in this subject to improve. I also took Economics SL, having sufficient knowledge to help students following the SL course. My classes consist of theory, where I will provide special know-how, and practical where I review problems with my students. As well as traveling to the student's desired location, I am able to give lessons via Skype.

I specialise in tutoring French to teenagers (middle or high school/ secondary school) and students (at university). My goal is to keep students challenged and motivated with a "can do" mentality. Often students loose their enthusiasm for a language because of multiple factors and I’m here to gradually help them get their motivation/enthusiasm/confidence back. ☺️ The tutoring is adapted to the student’s learning rhythm but also the school’s or university’s curriculum/schedule. In other words, the lessons are structured around the knowledge the student already has whilst helping him/her to progress in school or university and build his/her confidence. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular.
