Professional pianist and passionate about pedagogy, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now in conservatories, music schools and private lessons. I hold a didactic master's degree in piano from the Royal Institute of Music and Pedagogy of Namur and a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory in France. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Hello ! I offer piano lessons for young people wishing to discover music. And also musical awareness courses which include the discovery of music, piano and music theory. We work on the rhythm and the notes of the staff and we finish by working on the scales on the piano and small pieces depending on the level of the student.

Pedagogy: Focused on the student and his own objectives. I will try to guide you towards a plan that will correspond to your desires, while proposing a working method based on the pleasure of playing together, rigor, musical culture and theoretical knowledge. My favorite repertoire is jazz, bossa, funk, but I also like to offer pieces from classical and pop, accompanying you on the piano to get you used to playing in a group. All levels and all ages welcome.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! J'aborde chaque adepte individuellement et me concentre sur une bonne technique de base et le développement de la créativité et de la musicalité de l'étudiant. Avec moi, vous découvrirez la clarinette en apprenant à improviser et à lire des partitions. Through my 3 years of teaching experience I found out that learning music is supposed to be fun and the clarinet is the perfect instrument for discovering it that way! I give lessons for beginners in French, English or Polish. I approach each student individually and focus on good basic technique and developing the student's creativity and musicality. With me, you'll discover the clarinet by learning to improvise and read sheet music.
