Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or looking to pass your Grade 8. I am an enthusiastic teacher who puts the needs of the students first but always aims to reach goals and enjoy the love the music. I have taught children from a beginner level to adults passing their grade 8 exams.

With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. I often play chamber music (piano/violin) or violin duets with my students. My course is aimed at anyone who has the time to work on their instrument, children from 4 or 5 years old, adolescents, seasoned amateurs, beginners or advanced adults... I offer in person and online lessons in violin and viola. I am based in Neukölln, Berlin. I have taught violin and viola in the UK for leading national organisations including Opera North, In harmony and Orchestras for All. I have over 10 years of private and school based teaching experience and have taught students from aged 4 to adults. I also ran an outreach music and arts project in the UK delivering music and art workshops in schools and art galleries as well as online, the project was recognised with two national awards from Deutsche Bank and UnLtd. I have led and conducted school string ensembles and set up beginner string programs for Harrogate Music School, Cardiff Young Strings and The Strings Club, Birmingham. My teaching style incorporates aspects of Dalcroze and Kodaly methodology as well as improvisation and collaborative composition. I develop a bespoke approach alongside each student to ensure they are able to get the most out of their lessons and make lessons enjoyable. My lessons focus on developing technique and skills required to play music the student has chosen and I incorporate play and games into lessons to enable the most effective learning. I work mostly in classical, improvisation and new music contexts but can provide lessons in all genres. Lessons are in English. Regular, irregular and one-off lessons are possible. I teach from beginner-advanced.

Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I graduated from Viola at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels, and also as a music Professor for all levels from the Conservatory of Buenos Aires (Argentina), specialized in viola.I have experience teaching music to kids through games, in school orchestras or privately. I also teach adults, adjusting the class to their interests and needs. During the lessons, the student will also learn music theory integrated with the instrument class.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
