Bass player Eoin is a seasoned industry professional who has worked all over the world with some of the music industry’s most highly-regarded players over the past 13 years including Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy) and Ariel Posen. Eoin is now providing unparalleled music education in London and online. Eoin has a wealth of experience as a music educator, having taught on the BMus, Cert HE, BASW, BACM and MMus programmes ICMP in London since 2019 and also running his own private teaching practice. Recent career highlights include touring Europe with Snarky Puppy guitarist Mark Lettieri and performing with guitar superstar Ariel Posen for Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Locally, Eoin is a regular at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, performing both in the main venue downstairs and upstairs at the popular Cosmic Fusion jam night. Eoin holds a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Arts in Music degree from the Cork School of Music, both with first class honours. Eoin’s areas of teaching expertise include bass guitar technique, understanding the fretboard of the bass, harmony, music theory, sight-reading, improvisation, ear training, synth bass, navigating the industry, career advice and more. I am a classically trained professional pianist, with 16 years of teaching experiences of all ages and levels. I have many experiences in performing, competitions and accompanying singers/instrumentalists in concerts and in music exams. I am very familiar with the ABRSM exams and I have many successes with students passing ABRSM music (Grade 1-8, and Diploma) and theory exams (Grade 1-5) with very good grades. I can help you whether you are learning the piano for fun, or working towards exams. I prefer teaching online but I can also travel to students homes if they're in north London(depending on location).

About the classes: Created for complete beginners and those with some experience of Piano and Singing technique, this classes serve as an ideal starting point to develop piano and singing technique, to work on improvisation skills and sight-reading, to learn in depth music theory and chords and also to explore various music genres, to build up personal portfolio, self-confidence and stage presence. Special programme for younger beginners “Music Wonderland” has been specifically designed for children as young as 3.5 up to 7 years old. In addition I offer classes on music yoga and therapy which bring harmony, balance and open creative powers of an artist. Classes take place individually and in a group.

I specialize in teaching music theory and piano, especially for songwriters, drawing from my background of classical piano, my MA in songwriting, and my career as a published singer/songwriter. I assign creative exercises as homework, and I try to not let any question unanswered! For instrumentalists, we will look at the piano and some of its different techniques - classical, jazz, accompanying yourself, with focus on what the student actually wants to learn. For songwriters, we will go through music theory basics, and then basic harmony until we will be able to construct own our songs.

I teach every little thing a guitarist should know, like the correct hand techniques, reading music, and music theory (in a very practical way). And can teach all styles, all guitars and all levels. But most of all, my biggest passion and mission in life is to help you to be more creative and expressive. And the guitar is the best way to achieve it, of course. I encourage all my students to write music, improvise, and find their own path, voice, and sound on the guitar. Creating music is not only really fun, but it’s also the most valuable way to learn guitar and understand music on a deeper level. My current guitar students range from complete beginners to advanced guitarists. They want to embrace the joy of music in their lives and unlock their creative potential by improvising, songwriting, and music composing. Some of them work towards their diplomas and concerts, and I’m happy to support them along the journey and get great results. I believe that there are many paths to learning guitar, and I accommodate and design a plan according to your individual goals and needs. In the literature, it’s called “student-led”, and I am firmly convinced that this is the most suitable way to learn.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Music is the basic essence of all emotions and expressions. By learning it, we can admire and understand its beauty and enormity. My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.

Many people are passionate about music, but have they ever studied it in their lives? With this course I offer music theory, transverse and recorder classes for all levels, from the youngest to the oldest. The course can be adapted to each student and their preferences when it comes to learning. From getting to know the history of music a little better, learning to read sheet music, learning more about harmony, analyzing compositions or learning a new instrument. These are some of the options but I am always open to students and their preferences.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from the basic fundamentals of piano playing (reading music, positioning your hands on the keys) to building a wonderful sound and technique, allowing you to play anything you wish, from simple melodies to the renown classical piano repertoire of any era. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
