German is for sure not an easy language. Luckily it is my mother language and because of that I want to help others to learn this language or to improve it further. I recently finished school in Austria. This is an advantage because I can still put myself well into students shoes and I know what kind of teaching is the most beneficial. Using the most traditional methods of learning Chinese to teach the most orthodox Chinese, which includes both chanting and recitation, is both efficient and fast. Modern Chinese language learning involves applying Western linguistic theories, leaving everyone with only partial knowledge. The other half of the Chinese language's content and essence remains untouched, and the efficiency is low. Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Italian culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. I am open to your needs and can speak a few languages to make sure you understand fully the lessons (of course, we’ll try to use mostly Italian in all our lessons depending on your level). I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle. This positive mindset really helps to drive them to reach their full potential and achieve the grade they deserve. I am very excited to begin tutoring and I hope to hear from you soon.

Since the Gymnasium I give tutoring Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Latin and language courses Latin languages Portuguese Spanish French and Italian from basic or beginner level to Gymnasium level. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, with my customised lessons you will greatly accelerate the learning process while having a positive attitude. I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular. My modular programme can be adapted on a case-by-case basis. The converging point of these modules is your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What will not be covered in the course: learning lists of verbs; learning lists of nouns with articles; learning words with their translations; flashcards; doing school exercises; following the syllabus of a booklet; imposing the English grammar on the German language. What is particularly important to me: to motivate my student and to give him a learning rhythm; to encourage his creativity; to befriend him with the language; the letters and their sounds; to strengthen the memory by training the phonological loop; to teach blueprints instead of memorising sentences; to explain how the language works in order to make my student independent as quickly as possible; to eliminate common preconceptions, such as that 'der' would mean masculine and 'die' feminine, that the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, that verbs would be irregular, that declension would be random and therefore would have to be learnt with each verb...; to put practice at the centre and only deal with grammar where necessary. A first lesson will give you a sound idea of my pedagogy.
