Hi Music Lovers! I teach piano, musical composition writing, ear training, musical improvisation, early music education for young children(age 2 to 8) and kids with mental and physical disabilities. I am Asli, a Classical composition student at Royal Danish Academy of Music studying my Bachelors degree at the moment. I have finished my High school in the Purcell School in London, UK with joint first study composition and piano. I had my pieces premiered internationally such as in London, Birmingham, Rotterdam, Istanbul, Manchester and Copenhagen. I also studied piano as my first study from the ages 7 to 18 and participated in international festivals, Masterclasses and concerts in London, Birmingham, Amalfi, Ankara, Istanbul, Manchester and Glasgow. I have also participated in various workshops for music teaching to young kids and those with disabilities. I also have experience teaching for people in all ages and with disabilities. The lessons would be in either English or in Turkish.

Hej! My name is Steaph, I am a harpist from Scotland. I have lived in Copenhagen for 4 years. I am an experienced and professional musician, and a passionate teacher. I am happy to teach students of any age (6+) and anybody from absolute beginners, to advanced students. Being from Scotland, where the lever harp is a traditional instrument, I have a lot of experience with celtic and folk music. I am a professional classical musician in Copenhagen, but I also have a passion for arranging and performing pop music! This includes everybody from absolute beginners who have never performed in front of anybody. I like to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for my students to be able to play to the best of their ability. I can help you develop a healthy technique: every student I have is different therefore I introduce exercises for each of my students according to their abilities and goals. I love to help students with the interpretation and performance of different pieces in any genre. I can help you to create a practice plan that is unique to your needs, time and goals.

My experience goes from teaching children to adults.The level is no problem at all. Everyone is welcome in my classes and there is no problem in starting from 0 ! Every time is a good time to start playing or learning music :) My classes can have many different approaches, depending on what you're looking for and what your goals are. I can easily create a personal plan for you and adapt to your needs. Furthemore, comunication is really important, as I like that my students feel appreciated and listened to at all moments.

With over 8 years of experience teaching music, to both children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring my pupils through art and music! I have experience in teaching both celtic and pedal harp, music theory and piano. We will do fundamental exercises as well as play together and for each other, embracing improvisation and working on learning your favorite songs and grooves. Ableton is one of the most popular Audio editing softwares to date. In this course it will be in focus, but all other music editing softwares will work aswell. We deep dive into mixing theory, gain staging, listening setups and much more. I think you will find it very enlightening & fun.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
