English class for children from the ages 4 to 17. The class will be focused on 3 different aspects such as speaking, writing, and listening. As a tutor, I will do my best to make the lesson fun and engaging, so students will have more interest to learn the language. I speak Danish fluently so if there is something that the student does not understand, it can be explained in Danish as well for better comprehension. Hi everyone! I read English Literature and Language at Oxford University and then tutored in those subjects, and philosophy, before becoming a journalist. I was a foreign correspondent for the British and American press in the Middle East for ten years, and taught journalism skills classes out there. Nowadays, I'm completing my legal training for the English Bar and have studied International Human Rights Law for my Master's degree back at Oxford. I specialise in human rights and climate change, business and human rights, refugees, and the rights of children. I can also teach the foundations of the common law system. This class is for students who want to refine their English pronunciation, either for examination preparation or for job interviews. My goal is to give students the confidence to speak English fluently and accurately. I am an experienced teacher and linguist, and I encourage students to develop their speaking skills for academic, social and career advancement. Online classes are structured, with regular homework. Pronunciation classes are recorded, so that students can practise at home, and I give them regular progress reports, so that they can measure their improvement. I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle.
