I am an experienced electronic music producer and enthusiastic teacher with students of different levels. I love sharing my knowledge and to inspire other producers and musicians. I like to focus on the individual skills and goals, and to make specific lesson plans based on each student needs (i.e. for beginners - have a full understanding of production techniques and software features / produce releasable tracks within 6 months; for advanced students - finding a signature sound, improving sound design and mixing skills) Because of my expertise and versatility, I can teach many different styles of music. As an artist, I mainly focus on producing techno, IDM and house but I have a broad understanding of contemporary music and current trends because of my strong background as a drummer.

I will teach you everything about Logic Pro X environment, working process, do's and dont's. We will run through all the technical staff in a fun way and learn the most effective ways to use plug-ins like eq, compressor, reverb. As a promoter Geni has been running, and raising funding for, Liverpool's 'Parrjazz' for 13 years, promoting UK jazz acts such as Soweto Kinch and Go Go Penguin alongside International guests such as Snarky Puppy and Ghost - Note Geni is also a tutor at Liverpool university and WaterBear college of Music, and has worked as private mentor for many years, also on Breaking The Record, a programme created to empower women in music.

I offer courses to understand music production regardless of the software you use (I have mastered almost all of them) but I specialize in Ableton Live and Pro Tools that I can explain to you in depth.
