I am an experienced electronic music producer and enthusiastic teacher with students of different levels. I love sharing my knowledge and to inspire other producers and musicians. I like to focus on the individual skills and goals, and to make specific lesson plans based on each student needs (i.e. for beginners - have a full understanding of production techniques and software features / produce releasable tracks within 6 months; for advanced students - finding a signature sound, improving sound design and mixing skills) Because of my expertise and versatility, I can teach many different styles of music. As an artist, I mainly focus on producing techno, IDM and house but I have a broad understanding of contemporary music and current trends because of my strong background as a drummer.

I will teach you everything about Logic Pro X environment, working process, do's and dont's. We will run through all the technical staff in a fun way and learn the most effective ways to use plug-ins like eq, compressor, reverb. The kanun is an instrument of the zither family, used historically in various cultures including Arabic, Armenian, Turkish and Greek. I am a professional performer and hold a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the University of Ioannina (Greece), specializing in the kanun. I am also currently a Master's student at the University of Macedonia (Greece) where I will be researching novel orchestrations of Greek art music of the 1960s, using the kanun. In the lesson we will be focusing on technique, repertoire (mainly Greek and Ottoman), makam theory and elements of taksim improvisation. The level and pace of lessons will completely adapt to the needs and interests of each student.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). Shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese bamboo flute. It is unique in historical sense, Shakuhachi was played in Edo period, not as a musical instrument but a tool for Buddhism training. It also has very unique character as a wind instrument, and there is very satisfying pleasure to play it. In this class, we would like to share the joy and mindfulness of Shakuhachi playing. It is sometimes hard to make sound with Shakuhachi, but there is so much to be inspired by feeling your breath turning into the sound, by playing the instrument. Koudou Tsugami is a professional Shakuhachi player, who has finished both the Bachelor and Master course at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Along with playing in concerts and lives, he also gives lessons daily and teach in workshops for beginners more than 50 times a year.
