Hello! My name is Kajsa, and I am a 21 year old vocalist and musician from Sweden. I am currently in my third and final year of University at BIMM London, where I study Popular Music Performance Vocals. I have been singing and taking vocal lessons since I was 7 years old. I have been trained both classically and commercially. I prefer the commercial training because it allows the singer to focus more on the emotion when singing instead of posture and vocal techniques. Ofcourse there is a lot of technique that goes into it which we will focus on aswell, but in todays popular music the listener is looking for an emotion and a voice they can relate to. It can’t be too perfect and classical in the commercial scene today, that removes all the rawness and emotion that the listener is looking for, in my oppinion. I want to offer my potential students a safe place where they can belt their heart out or be vulnerable in their headvoice without judgement. I know I lacked this when i was growing up into this industry, and I would love to give the confidence of not caring too much and to teach how to be brave enough to sing with 100% emotion. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
