I have a Doctorate in Music, Christ's Cambridge. I am able to teach piano, guitar, double bass, bass guitar, ukulele, banjo and mandolin, some to advanced level and others to conservatoire level. I have played in over 30 W End shows and with many famous orchestras and artists. I have a current [4 months old] Enhanced DBS and my own transport. I am vastly experienced.

The students will learn vocal fundamentals to strengthen the voice and to improve voice control and sound in general, extend range, work on chest and head voice, harmonising and breathing techniques. We will do different sets of vocal exercises to improve vocal abilities and work on different songs to put all the theory and exercises in to practice.

You will learn: - Transition between registers, so called “passagio” (Chest voice & Head Voice/Falsetto) - Improving your pitch & rhythm sense - Expanding your vocal range and vocal abilities - Interpreting an Aria or Song, - Developing your musical personality - Learning how to breathe / stand / move on the stage - Finding your unique voice / sound projection - Pronunciation / Articulation in different languages - Overcoming stage-fright and insecurities - Working on genres, such as Opera, Operetta, Songs (specific genres like Pop, Jazz and Rock are also wellcomed)

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice.
