- Courses offered in English and/or French. - Exploration of pieces belonging to the 4 main movements of classical music: baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary. - Development of technique, notably sound (tone and vibrato) as well as breathing. - More modern approach, i.e. lessons focused less on music theory and more on musical sensitivity as well as technique, which, I find, are essential to fully experience the happiness provided by music. - If you have a piano at home, I would be happy to accompany you so that you can discover chamber music as well as the techniques necessary for playing in a duo. It's another way of experiencing the transverse flute which is very fun and interesting for your musical development. - All levels welcome! My primary goal is to make you love your classes; I therefore adapt to you, your desires and your needs.

I propose to give flute lessons for all levels, children or adults, for all styles as well as music theory. My goal for the student to be as high as possible and satisfied with a knowledge of musical notes.

From scales to etudes to classical pieces, you can learn it all! I studied classical flute for 13 years, played solo and in flute quartets and competed in contests. I had great teachers who inspired me to play classical music, as well as jazz and improvised music on the flute! Currently playing jazz flute and improvised music!

I specialize in teaching basic techniques (embouchure, breathing exercises, etc.) which leads to a good dominion of the flute. The repertoire can be at the student's choice and of course, the good atmosphere will not miss during the lesson.

I offer private flute lessons at home, from beginner to advanced levels, for all ages. I hold degrees in Pedagogy and Didactics (Conservatoire Royal de Mons), Flute (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel), and Piccolo (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel). In September 2023, I won 2nd prize at the Gazzelloni International Flute Competition, and from August 2024, I am part of the La Monnaie / De Munt Academy and the Belgian National Orchestra, with whom I will perform several concerts during the 2024/2025 season. A brief overview of my teaching experience: - From December 2023 to April 2024, I completed 90 hours of internship at the music academies of Braine L'Alleud and Auderghem. - Since September 2022, I have been teaching flute at the European School of Brussels. - From 2021 to 2022, I taught flute, music initiation, and piano at a private music school in Waterloo. - In July 2020, I obtained my teaching qualification in Italy by earning the 24 CFU credits required for teaching in Pedagogy, Learning Psychology, and Evaluation Methods and Techniques. - From 2015 to 2017, I assisted my former professor Vincenzo Gallo at the "G. Nicolini" Conservatory of Piacenza for 2 years as a class tutor. I've been teaching saxophone and flute for about 30 years. I studied in Paris and New York with some of the greatest saxophonists, including the great master Barry Harris. Over time, I've developed a pleasant and effective method. I also teach the Alexander Technique, a very effective tool for learning to play with minimal effort. I teach classes for all levels and styles, although I specialize in teaching jazz improvisation.

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.
