Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online. I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level. In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination. This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term. I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.
