Whether it’s pronunciation, writing, conversation, or more in-depth literary analysis, I am here to help! Chinese is a fascinating and philosophically rich language, and with the right guidance and learning approach, you’ll find that Chinese is actually quite easy! I look forward to exploring the world of Chinese with you and, through the learning process, diving into various fields such as culture, art, and more in Chinese. Looking forward to meeting you!

Gabriele
Violin and chamber music classes for beginner/intermediate
During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Lorenzo
Drums lessons in FR-IT-EN with an experienced and qualified teacher
Je donne cours en français - Description disponible en Français Do lezione in Italiano - Descrizione disponibile in Italiano ......................................................................................................................................................... The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages. => Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory. My main goal is to give the student complete control behind the drums and skills to be able to self-learn any piece in any musical style. 1 hour of weekly lessons are never enough, they should only be used to fuel the passion that will make you play at home more and more. On demand or for advancs students: - I am very passionate about the study of South American rhythms. Due to their complexity, apart from the samba and Baïon ostinatos, they are not included in the program before the advanced level. They can be at the request of the student. - I am also specialized in metal (musical style) and double pedal. The latter is not included in the program unless requested by the student. The double pedal courses are based on the methodology of Virgil Donati. Technique: * Moeller technique (the 'whipping motion' - the Free stroke -Full/Half/Low stroke - accepting the rebound - its application etc.) * Snare rudiments and their applications through reading systems * Readings of scores and exercises for the snare drum * Speed drills * Military marches * Control of the different subdivisions (quarter notes - eighth notes - triplets - sixteenth notes - quintuplets - sextuplets - triple eighth notes - nonolets etc.) * Displacement of accents and polyrhythms * On request, double pedal technique (application of the Moeller to the double pedal as well as everything listed above but with the feet) Drums: * Bass drum reading and independance * Snare drum reading and independance * Applications of ghost notes * The 16 sixteenth-notes ostinatos * Jazz readings and independence * Binary and ternary readings * Coordination and movements of both feet * Dynamics on the instrument * Creation of fills and original drum grooves * On request, application of the double pedal * On request or for advanced students, readings and independence of South American rhythms (study and independence of the clave/Cascara/Mozambique etc.)

A Royal Conservatory Brussels student with a Yamaha grand piano teaches piano, theory and solfege for all ages and all levels.
Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses: - a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much. - a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

My lessons are designed to bring out the joy of music and enhance creativity, while also gradually improving technique based on age and individual abilities. As a dedicated and experienced teacher with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, I take teaching seriously and am committed to providing effective lessons tailored to each student. I offer different approaches to suit the individual needs and goals of every student. Playing an instrument should be a delightful experience and that's exactly what my lessons are all about! PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN (3+) Are you a parent eager to introduce your little one to the wonderful world of music? My lessons are designed to be playful and engaging. Using specially adapted piano books, I'll guide your child through an exciting musical adventure, complete with stories and new songs to learn. We'll explore music through singing, movement, and rhythm, helping your child develop a deep and lasting love for music. SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN The lessons are more than just learning songs. Children will explore a piano book filled with stories, characters, engaging music, and games. Depending on preferences we can dive into playing music with accompaniment recordings, which allows children to immerse themselves in a complete musical experience. Theory learning is included. TEENAGERS Are you looking for a piano teacher who will encourage and support your teenager's passion for music? I offer an accelerated piano book specifically designed for this age group, allowing your child to progress quickly in their piano skills. If your child already has experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I understand that every student has their own goals, whether it's playing for fun or aspiring to be a professional musician. That's why I adapt my lessons to fit your child's intentions. By offering a variety of musical pieces for them to choose from, and being open to their suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is more effective in keeping them motivated. ADULTS Are you worried that you're too old to start learning the piano? Don't be! It's never too late to pick up a new skill, and as an adult, you have unique advantages over children when it comes to learning music. You have greater focus, a better grasp of music theory, and a strong motivation to succeed. Do you have a favorite song that you've always wanted to play but thought it was too difficult? There are plenty of classical and popular melodies that have been arranged for beginners, so you can start playing them right away. I'll also recommend a piano book specifically designed for adult learners, which will help you build up your skills at a comfortable pace.

Oscar
Young & passionate musician gives music theory and solfeggio lessons for beginners
- Do you want to start playing music but have little to no knowledge? - Are you struggling with the theoretical aspect of you music lessons? - Would you like to receive personalised help from a passionate young musician? Often considered a tiresome burden, music theory is to music what grammar is to language. It is a tool, a code that allows us to understand how our language works. Whether you're using words or notes, it's the same! This is why it is important to learn music theory pragmatically, keeping in mind that it is here to help us understand different musical languages, not at all to impose strict rules. In fact, it would be unthinkable to learn the grammar of a language without ever seeing its relevance in everyday practice! About me: As a 25 year old pianist / drummer / composer / sound engineer / electronic producer / DJ, I offer my help to learn music theory and solfeggio, both in harmony and rhythm. Currently a 3rd year student in Sound at INSAS, I studied musicology at ULB, and I practice music on a daily basis, whether as a pianist (improvisation, composition, learning jazz and classical pieces) or as a sound engineer and beatmaker. Some information about my musical background: - currently in my last year of piano studies (academy of Etterbeek) - member of the jazz ensemble of the Forest academy (2nd year) - regular concerts and composition in MAO (computer assisted music) for 7 years (mainly hip-hop) - 7 years of private drum lessons + Brazilian percussion lessons (batucada) - completed musical training (Etterbeek Academy, 4 years) - 3 years of music writing and analysis courses in academy - solo DJ as well as for a hip-hop group - recording and mixing as a sound engineer as part of my studies and outside: music, cinema, sound creation, etc The course: Depending on your wishes and / or needs, we can orient the course towards different facets of music theory. Whether it's harmony, rhythm, analysis or sight-reading; whether your objective is knowledge, composition, improvisation or the practice of an instrument, I can adapt to you! The first lesson is usually dedicated to assessing the student's level of knowledge and skills, and to establish together a draft programme for the following lessons. The idea is to progress at your own pace, in a good mood! This course is mainly intended for people starting out in music. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, I'llbe happy to answer you!

Piano Lessons from a passionate Teacher: All levels
I am a recent Masters graduate in Piano from the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, in the class of Jan Michels. Alongside performing, teaching is my greatest passion and I’ve been teaching piano for eight years now. Before moving to Brussels, I studied my Bachelors in Edinburgh and took part in Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Talent Academy in Verona. I’ve gained invaluable insights from renowned pianists such as Fali Pavri, Graeme McNaught, Simon Coverdale, BingBing Li, Norma Fisher, Murray McLachlan, Craig Sheppard and Petras Geniusas. It’s my pleasure to pass these on. My upcoming PhD will focus on music education, with a particular focus on piano teaching.

Piano lessons, musical writing, harmony, music theory.
I am a pianist, composer and teacher, passionate about my profession, I aspire to transmit this knowledge and share this knowledge that I try to cultivate every day. I am punctual, organized and open-minded. I am interested in both classical music and so-called "popular" music. Piano teacher in several music schools for almost ten years, I like to use improvisation and games to overcome the problems encountered by my students. I am open to working on all repertoires, to introducing improvisation and the history of music in lessons as well as to musical writing. I work with children from the age of five because I trained in the sensory method (Peltier/ Navarra) as well as with adults. The Piano Master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels allows me to give my students a solid foundation but I am very open to discovering with my students the repertoire of their choice.
