Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Lessons at home or at the student's home (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse, Evere and other neighboring municipalities, occasionally in Walloon Brabant). Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online. I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level. In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination. Lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of each student. The most important thing is that we have a good time!

This is what I offer you through my course: tune the instrument, work on your first chords and quickly play your first songs; read tablature, discover and master scales and modes to combine them with playing expressions such as hammer-ons, pull-offs, legato; develop your musical ear by exploring the depth of certain styles such as pop, rock, blues, jazz, bossa nova, funk just to name a few. All this will no longer have any secrets for you! Whether you have no experience or a few weeks of practice at hand, we will go step by step, taking into account your level, so that you evolve at your own pace and consistently. This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term. I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Hello to everyone! My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist. All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. In what consist my lessons? Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument. To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you. As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you! For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
