Hi, my name is Jeremy and I’m a professional funk bassist. I've been playing music for 17 years, having performed and composed with many groups and ensembles across England and Belgium. I will teach you how to reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping lessons tailored to your personal needs. I have years of experience helping students improve as well as experience in many different styles of music such as Funk, Rock, reggae, jazz, blues etc! Some examples of what you might learn include: - The basics and advice for beginners - What makes a good bassline - Learning songs that you like - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - improvising, jamming and playing with others Appropriate homework/exercises and recordings are provided during lessons. This applied music theory course is for any passionate musician, regardless of level. It aims to broaden his musical knowledge and abilities by understanding music as a whole. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. In what consist my lessons?
