My name is Gianni, I'm a professional musician, currently living in Basel and doing my master's degree in double bass at the Musik Akademie Basel. I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone. I would say my main instruments are guitar and bass and I have been teaching these for 5 years to students of different levels and different aspirations. I am the person for YOU !! My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method. The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you! My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. The invaluable advice I received from renowned teachers such as Margreet Honig, Elene Golgevit and Snezana Stamenkovic inspired me to share my enriching knowledge of vocal technique from the Bel Canto school. I am a music pedagogy graduated teacher (master of performance and master of pedagogy in Paris and Basel). Love sharing my passion with others : have a 10 years experience in 2 music schools and high schools in Paris. Am also performing concerts as a pianist and organist. Focus are set on body and technical skills, music theory and knowledge necessary to play all kinds of score or improvise, interpretation and artistic view of the pieces. My experience teaching started in New York where I taught school students piano and music theory. I am also a professional continuo player accompanying Baroque orchestras on the harpsichord, as well as a composer of experimental music. My experience in very different musical scenes gives me a unique approach to studying that allows me to adapt the content and structure of lessons according to where the student wants to develop their skills. This can include focus on exercises like scales and arpeggios; studying simple pieces from Classical, Baroque or even Pop repertoire; figured bass; body posture awareness; and trying more experimental things through free improvisation techniques! I've also found that accompanying practice with theory helps to deepen one's understanding and joy at learning this beautiful music. I a professional musician and have taught piano to children for three years at the Pico Music School in Lucerne. We will learn at the piano how to play and how to read and hear music.
