Mladen is a nice teacher, very patience and agreable. We were me and my daughter and was not that easy but he has motivation and a sympa way
In this course you will learn the practice and theory of drawing and painting. It covers shapes, forms, visual elements, value, and colour theory. You will apply this knowledge to exercises in still life, landscape, figure drawing, and portraiture. Any medium you wish to explore is welcome and materials will be provided. The course will be tailored to your preferred pace and level, although it will follow the basic structure provided above.
Unlike my other more structured classes, this one is aimed at people who simply wish to have a space in which to engage in visual art in a very free way. My knowledge, experience, and critiques are of course available, but the point of the course is to experiment with techniques and create without judgement, restriction, or direction.

Theater / Declamation / Text work / Preparation for ESA competitions / Public speakingActress graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and Professor responsible for TFE at the same Conservatory for 3 years now, I am passionate about my job.
I have given workshops to children in theaters and am currently giving them to a particular audience as part of art therapy.
When I'm not playing in the theater (Théâtre Royal des Galeries, Théâtre Royal du Parc, Templerie des Hiboux, Rideau de Bruxelles, Théâtre Jean-Vilar LLN...), I like to transmit my passion.
I would be delighted to help you prepare for entrance exams to the Higher Schools of Dramatic Art (ESA), public speaking or simply work on texts for fun.
I give drama lessons for individuals, in companies or in establishments.
If you want to take competitive exams, I adapt to the request: we can work on free scenes and courses for ESA entrance exams, think together about an adapted program aimed at highlighting your personality and your particularities.
I can also help if you have difficulty speaking in public.
We can also work on texts for pleasure and love of the language.
Being also a singer, musician, and dancer, I can help you and train you in a multidisciplinary way.

CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ART: UNDERSTANDING AND PRACTICEKEY OBJECTIVES:
• To introduce the right toolkit to take on contemporary art of any kind, no matter how difficult, minimal and conceptually driven it may be.
• To learn to spot and call out artwork that is being difficult or challenging because it’s a load of rubbish.
• To make you feel more confident when making and looking at contemporary art!
How can we be so categorical about something as subjective as deciding if art is ‘good’ or ‘bad’? Think of it like this: If you’re not any good at carpentry, you can still identify a poorly made coffee table. Basically, what we’re going to try to do is understand how to recognise if an artwork has been responsibly made or not. In the case contemporary art that has been made responsibly, this class will suggest that your kid could not have made it, any more than they could have removed your appendix, designed a suspension bridge or landed a crashing helicopter. In the case of art that has not been made responsibly, then yes, perhaps your kid could have made it.

From creative writing to creating artwork - a class by an academic artist and researcherHave you ever wondered how to create artwork? What are the inspiration sources and processes that lead to thinking, sketching, and developing ideas for a visual work? How to understand your own thoughts and express them in a creative way, through writing and/or drawing?
This course will provide you with this knowledge and practice!
With this course, under the guidance of an experienced academic artist and researcher, you will develop theoretical, but, most of all, practical skills and tools for creating your own artwork: from a thought to a visual result.
The focus of this course is on creative writing exercises and artistic methods such as drawing, aquarelle, collage, photography, video art, and other multimedia. This will allow you to better understand practices of contemporary art and to participate from your own home.
We will create beautiful texts and poems, expressive sketches and creative maps, illustrative paintings, and photos.
The classes are tailored based on the student's needs and wishes, which means different creative exercises.
After creative writing, when we reach the visual process, the introduction and guidance for the practical skill of the desired medium will be offered.
This class is offered to anyone, no matter the level they have. As an artist with traditional art education, and contemporary art research degree, I believe I can help you regardless if it's for your own practice and interests, or if it's for an academic guidance.

As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.
I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.
I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.
In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.
You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.
Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Whether you're looking for encouraging and supportive classes for your child in pre-school/primary, art tutoring for your teenager at secondary school, or you are an adult of any age looking to start or expand your art practice, I am here to learn your needs and create tailored tutoring for you
In a friendly and supportive environment, you'll be guided to explore different mediums, play with ideas and concepts in art, and build confidence in the skills that you want to hone. We will start by getting to know each other and together decide what you would like to explore and gain from tutoring sessions. I am here to support your needs and encourage your creative expression.
I am flexible to support you or your child with different art forms- over the years I have worked with painting, drawing, collage, film photography, dance, performance art, sculpture, experimental printing, textiles, writing, land art, sound installation. I work with a focus on the making process over the outcome, experimental making, thinking outside the box, and playing with elements of freedom, accident and chance. I take an interdisciplinary approach to Art as connected to all the other subjects and systems in the world, with particular interest in science, nature and ecology.

Painting Tutor: Discover and develop your artistic languageI am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.
Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don't always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!
Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.
The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.
(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
Have questions? Don't hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)
