I am a Slovak professional freelance photographer and videographer based in Brussels. I specialize in event photography and in capturing human motion with more than 8 years of a professional career. In the beginning, I was a self-educated photographer, but in 2016 I graduated and got a BA degree in Photography from a University in the UK. I teach a hands-on class. We go through theory and directly apply it in practice. I live close to a large park, where we can find all kinds of subjects. From landscapes, portraits, abstracts, animals, night... My aim is to provide a good knowledge for photographers from pre-productions all the way through production and offer some post-production techniques/tips as well. There is a lot to learn! I believe in a constant education myself since the technology keeps on evolving. I use Nikon DLSR and SLR cameras but the same principals apply to any kind of DSLR, SLR, mirrorless cameras.

In the age of digital photography, Adobe Photoshop seems to be an indispensable tool to become a professional photographer. I designed this course to help anyone new to photography take the necessary tools to develop their future photographic practice. You'll learn how to make selections, create masks, retouch portraits, and use advanced techniques to enhance your photographs and transform them into new images. In addition to teaching basic Photoshop, I suggest you learn about the history of photography and discover a wide range of old and contemporary photographer artists that will allow you to find inspiration for your personal work. .

Getting started in photography doesn’t have to be challenging. I'll start with digital and analog camera basics and provide a thorough explanation on photography elementary concepts like Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. I will also provide a guide on Color Theory in photography and how to do Narrative photography. If possible, there will be practice classes on the field taking pictures around the city. If the person is interested, I will also teach the basics about analog photography (including how to handle an analog camera, the types of roles that exist and how the developing process works). I will use mainly videos and my own presentations but I can provide a range of additional materials if necessary.
