Spanish is the 4th most spoken language in the world, and being able to speak another language is becoming more and more desirable. As an A* Spanish student myself, I understand how difficult it can be to grasp a language in a classroom of 30 students. During my hour of tuition I will go through conjugating tenses in depth, speaking and writing skills. Furthermore English literature is also my strong suite as an A* English student. I specialise specifically in GCSE English literature (Edexcel exam board) but will happily tutor for any other exam board. In English tutoring sessions I will go through key themes of plays/novels in depth and set essays once the student feels more confident. Before then, I will go through sample essays to discuss what went well and what could be improved.

I have been teaching Spanish to GCSE and A-Level students and adults since graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2012 with a degree (BA and MA [Hons]) in Modern Languages. I focus on speaking and grammar, and reintroducing a love of the language. When we get closer to the exam period, I focus on exam technique and giving the examiners what they are looking for. My exam guide for GCSE Spanish and German students have been published and are currently available on Amazon, and I am also the designer for these courses on the study app and website Study Rocket!

Since beginning my language teaching career in 2012, I have led instruction in Spanish and English as foreign languages in prestigious International Schools around the globe. I am currently a whole-school Spanish Teacher at the British School of Warsaw, teaching children from the age of 8 years old through to 18, focusing on Key Stages 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum for England, the Cambridge iGCSE program of studies for Spanish as a Foreign Language and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) for Spanish Language B.
